The aim of this Master's
degree is to consolidate high quality university studies with a solid
base in theoretical and applied knowledge and tools that can be used for
specialization in Research field in migration and diversity at a
Doctorate program or equivalent: interdisciplinary, case and comparative
studies, with mixed quantitative and qualitative techniques.

The Department of Political and Social Sciences of the Universitat
Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and the Institute for Human and Social Sciences
of University of Liège (Belgium) also offer the double degree Program
in Immigration Studies. This new Master programme provides students with
a unique opportunity to combine political science and sociology
approaches to immigration studies into a double degree. Students will
graduate with a Master Degree in Sociology from the University of Liège and a Master Degree in Immigration Management from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
